The SS Thistlegorm wreck was a British merchant ship built in 1940 and sunk in 1941 during World War II after a German air attack. Today, this legendary wreck near Sharm El Sheikh is one of the world’s most famous diving sites. Divers can explore the remains of trucks, motorcycles, rifles, and war cargo still preserved on the seabed at depths of around 30 meters, making it a true underwater time capsule of history.
